No Match
this is a back blip - yesterday was a busy one. On the road quite a bit running errands in Clitheroe, Whalley and at Helmshore Mills Museum where I took this snap of artist Claire Morgan's installation entitled No Match. She is inspired by the cotton recycling machinery in a part of the mill known as the Devil Hole. Since cotton for recycling often had bits of metal in it, sparks caused frequent fires. Claire's work is inspired by the idea that humankind often battles forces against which we are no match. I didn't want to spoil the surprise of the installation which runs the length of the Devil Hole, so here's a peak.
My car doesn't have air conditioning so all this driving about was a bit uncomfortable. After work I picked up a friend and took her shopping for a last minute wedding outfit, then we went to a Tae Bo class which was ridiculously hard in a room without air conditioning. You'll forgive me for falling into bed rather than blipping when I got home x
