cricket world cup

GD and I went for a wander through the fan zone in Victoria Square then walked along the fan trail to the cricket ground, before heading back to meet P&A for a much needed drinks, as it was rather hot, along with a delicious antipasto platter and plenty of chatter :-)

The big screen was showing West Indies playing Pakistan when we arrived in Victoria Square and Pakistan were 1 run for 1 wicket, which very soon became 1 run for 4 wickets!!!  Some spectators were rather concerned about that, but the kids playing cricket on the green were too busy with their own problems - what to do when the ball is hit over the fence .............. easy fixed, as the littlest one in the team just crawls underneath!!!
