Terralux died??

Well after very little use and no sharp impacts at all
My Terralux maglite upgrade has died and I'm bemused as to y?
1000 lumens it put out but it don't no more grrr it's Cree leds with a ridiculous lifespan so I ask you y has it died?
Either way Terralux are getting a very sharp and abrupt email demanding a replacement or refund.
