Grund, Luxembourg

Arrived in Luxembourg for a short break for Jo's birthday. I had an early start followed by a five hour coach journey just to get to gatwick so was knackered when we arrived. Jo had had a long week too so the brains were not firing on all cylinders when we arrived: we got on the wrong bus but ended up not too far from out apartment, apart from there was a gorge in the way! After wandering about on decreasingly small and dark paths at the top of the gorge we decided to retrace our steps and got a taxi to out house instead. Standard start for me when travelling!

This is the area where we stayed, with out apartment up in the top right of this pic. Bit of an effort to take this as I didn't have my tripod with me. A wallet and phone were employed to balance the camera on while I held the strap in case the camera fell off the wall and into the gorge!
