Grey Day Murmuration

We couldn't bear to sit around at home again so even though it was very dreary and cold we headed to the woods for a rather slippy, sloshy, muddy walk........well, I've learnt something today.......the woods is not the most enjoyable place to be on a chilly, grey winter's day but at least we got some fresh air and a bit of exercise.  It started to rain lightly about ten minutes before we got back to the car, so we were amazed to see a couple arrive and set out for a walk as we were leaving....they must be hardy souls, it's chucking it down out there now :-))
