Renovation progress

After being off-radar for a day and a half (some kind of tummy bug) today I felt much better and have my appetite back. We travelled back to Belgium yesterday, but I slept most of the journey.

On this last day of the half-term break we went to Goedereede to have a look at the progress of the renovation works. There's been huge progress, the most obvious is the installation of the bathroom, but the new stairs are a huge improvement too as is the new gas meter and new electric work.

We cleaned for a couple of hours so the painter has a clean canvas to work on. Hopefully he can start next week...
