Lazy hazy day on the river

Another gorgeous day - and I took the afternoon off!

This was the scene in Abingdon at lunchtime.
They were mowing the grass - in preparation for the upcoming Jubilee events down by the Thames next weekend. Lots of happy relaxed-looking people sitting on the grass, cycling, pushing babies, sitting on benches, and - of course - messing about on the river.
