The way to a man's heart

They used to say the way to a man's heart was through his stomach. Well Alma Cogan certainly thought so in this 1962 Radio Luxembourg annual, and had managed to get together some favourite recipes of the stars. There is Bobby Darin's 'Chicken Livers and Mushroom Sauce' for pasta , the Everly Brothers 'Cheese Custard Frankfurters', and of course, Elvis Presley's Apple Pie. But when it came to Cliff Richard, you couldn't beat his mum's 'Curried Chicken and Bananas', made with plenty of cold leftover chicken and ham. What, no pineapple?
