Fare dodger or plain lazy?

Whilst waiting for my train at Cardiff Central Station, I saw this seagull land on the roof of a train that had just pulled into the platform.  As the train pulled out of the platform, the bird turned to face the direction of travel and when the train reached a certain speed, it just casually spread it's wings and lifted off. Lazy or what?
