#40days Celebrate

Today's word is celebrate.

This afternoon I was being one of the Skips in our annual Ladies v Gents competition.

I was hoping to win & use the score as my celebrate picture. However, it all went a bit wrong....

I fell badly on the ice & had to retire to sidelines with an ice pack.

My team went on to win, but the aggregate score from the other team meant the Ladies lost by 1 point. Meaning the Gents get the trophy this year.

We give each other gifts & the bottle is the gift from the Gents. I don't think the Skip falling & retiring is in the tactics book, but it might be in the 101 curling excuses book the the Ladies gave as a gift to the Gents!!
