Old Man

It's my dad's birthday. He's getting older, as I wrote last year. He'd planned a birthday walk, but unfortunately the weather wasn't compatible with those plans. So we ended up in the shops, then at my parents house watching some funny old comedy thing. That isn't as funny to me as it seems to be to my dad who laughs loads at it.

Nine years ago we had a joint fiftieth and eighteenth. I can't believe that was nine years ago. It seems ages ago, but at the same time I don't feel nine years older. And my dad just hasn't ever really aged as far as I can remember. Happy birthday dad!
