Rose tinted spectacles

Pink is apparently the most effective colour for Daughter No.2 to negate the effect of her visual dyslexia. She says it stops her getting headaches when reading. Personally I can't quite see how - and I wonder where the phrase came from originally?!
She has had a good day today - a friend invited her over for the afternoon - who just happens to have a farm where they are in the midst of lambing.
She helped with the delivery and cleaning up afterwards of triplet lambs and was positively buzzing by the time she got home!
