Wader
I went to Musselburgh this morning to see what birds I could see on the sea - but I didn't check the tide before I went :-( I went at 9:30, low tide around 11 am, so there wasn't much to see from the shore - I really should have checked!
The harbour itself had some lovely birds and yielded this shot of a Dunlin (I think) amongst others of Redshank and Godwits.
I really liked the watching it progress across the mud probing here and there, left and right. You can see the trail of its footprints in the mud.
The rest of the day was wet and overcast and pretty dull photographically
