A wet day....

....well who can complain after three weeks of lovely weather.   And the farmers are desperate for this.   This is in the town of Thames at the foot of the Coromandel Peninsula east of Auckland.  The town has many buildings that date back to the colonial period, and also this letter box.   It was made in an Australian foundry, and is rather eccentric and irregular.

Very sorry for lack of commenting - I will work extra hard when I get home.
