MonoMonday - Ancient Buildings

Actually we don't do ancient buildings here in South Australia.  The oldest would be somewhere in the late 1830's, definitely after 1836, because that's when the State was declared.

This is Alberton Railway Station, which was built in 1856, and is probably one of the oldest station buildings still in existence.

Sadly it's no longer used as a station, but has a mixture of odd shops therein.

It looks a bit bedraggled.  The graffiti on the chimney doesn't exactly add to its appearance either.

Enormous thanks to JoanneinOz who has done a brilliant job throughout the whole of February.  Next week it will be over to Chantler63 for March.
