Pretty Wasted

I saw the surgeon this morning, and he gave me the all clear, so I'm now cancer free! He said the results were better than he could have hoped for.
The next stage is putting some dye into my bowel to see how well it's healing. When it's healed I'll have another surgery to remove the seton, which was put in to drain an abscess last year (that's how the cancer was found), then yet another surgery to remove the bag and reconnect the bowel, so I'll be back to normal. Phew!
