Bald Eagle At Coon Point
I waited a bit today in arriving at Sauvie Island as the weather man had predicted east winds which are cold, but they never materialized. It was another beautiful spring day, and the pair of eagles were busy fishing & gathering sticks for their nest. One flew literally in front of us, as we all scrambled to get shots. There is always the "waiting" and conversation ng the bird watchers and photographers...hoping for the chance that one flies close, BUT when it happens we are all in a bit of hysteria:) I was so pleased that most of mine came out. Only one pass was out of focus, so I had a good day.
