BRAAAN

I learnt something new today. The Sydney Opera House is BRAAAN. I mean truly, totally, seventies, brown.

A walk with cousin Helen after a lateish start nattering at the table. Walked from Kirribilli across the Harbour Bridge, found some old ruins of houses with oversized furniture, then enjoyed a glass of champagne and a fish supper for lunch at the Opera Bar. Back to the car by ferry then a meander on the beach, dipping the toes in the sea. A lovely first conscious day in this fabulous city with an enthusiastic tour guide!!
