Homeward bound

This is a photo of us going onto the train at the Vereina tunnel in Switzerland. This tunnel is 19042m long and takes about 20 minutes to get through. It does however cut out the Julierpass which takes about 3.5 hours to drive. The problem with the tunnel is you have to queue to get through it. It is how I would imagine it feels like to be loaded onto a cattle train and it is a bit rickety as you can sometimes be put onto 2 seperate carriages which is a bit scary and health and safety in England would have 40 fits!!
