A controversial figure  stands looking over you at Trentham Gardens - George Granville - the first Duke of Sutherland. Notorious for his instigation of the highland clearances.

A mixed morning weatherwise - showery, sunny and cold and windy!

I had company today. A friend of mine joined me for coffee and the walk around the lake, and a bit of a catch up.
