A Lack of Commitment ?

...Or just another love lock? Did they get it because it was pink or because you can always find/remember the combination again? It just seemed like a great get out clause to me, as I walked past it.


It's my understanding (and I don't mind being corrected) that these locks are placed here, on our equivalent of the "Millennium Bridge", to symbolise a permanent relationship by symbolically throwing the key in the water. A combination lock seems to negate the important part here.
