Black and white silents

Off work though lurgy sickness today, boo .. cough, splutter.

Anyway, bearing in mind I have not opened the front door today, you are getting an indoor blip of the Silent Film Festival. The festival held in the beautifully refurbished Hippodrome Cinema (built in 1912) in Bo'ness (a lovely little ex mining town in West Lothian), is a wonderful celebration of silent film, and is now in its 5th year. Many of the showings are accompanied by live accompaniment such as Neil Brand, and Mark Kermode and his Dodge Brothers.

Looking forward to the festival which taking place between Wednesday 18th March - Sunday 22nd March.
