Mono Monday ... Ancient Buildings
Schielandshouse ... in the sun. Yes, it was rather cold but we had sun too. And beautiful clouds!
The Schielandshuis is the only remaining building from the 17th century in the center of Rotterdam, situated in the Korte Hoogstraat. It was built between 1662 and 1665 for the Polder Board Schieland and was a museum since 1978. The Schielandshuis was open to the public until December 30, 2012. Then the doors were closed by cutbacks of the municipality of Rotterdam.
