Through the looking glass

I had an interesting morning photographing my friend at her chiropody clinic. The clients were all relaxed and seemed to enjoy being treated. They were also happy to have their feet in the photos. I took this one at the end, through the magnifying light, just as an experiment, but it turned out to be my favourite photo of the day.
On the way back to college, I called in at Ruthwell Church, where there is a famous cross dating from Anglo-saxon times. I shall maybe go back and blip it another day. At Ruthwell, the fields were full of Whooper swans. It was a wild day, very cold, and the Nith is predicted to flood Dumfries tonight with a supertide.....
On a less exciting note, I shall be staying in town for the samba Sisters AGM. Hope we get a bit of time to drum afterwards.
