Strong verticals....

I usually just point my camera/iPhone/iPad at something and hope for the best. Sometimes I'm quite pleased with what comes out. Like with this one. A piece of long neglected land at the top of Cambridge Street, where it turns under the Oxford Road Station viaduct into Whitworth Street is getting a makeover. They are sandwiching three, I think, apartment towers on the land by the River Medlock.

This core will be in the tallest one at 26 storeys. It's almost there. It reached the 21st floor on Valentine's Day, hence the heart.

I was pleased with how the tower of the core interacted with the chimney of the restored Chorlton Mill next door. One of the apartments in Chorlton Mill gets the use of this funky terrace wrapped around the chimney. A bit too open under foot for my liking!
