I am in the process of refurbishing an old coffee table where the original top was quite damaged with heat marks and water marks .I have covered the top with plywood and added an edging strip so a couple of steps nearer to completion. At least it was an indoor job on a cold miserable day with very frequent squally rain and hail showers.
