Eye Eye

While J's eye has improved immeasurably over the last three weeks, a return in the last couple of days of red veins on the area of white to the right of her iris was concerning us.  So we emailed to the specialist this pic that I took of her eye, with a description of all other symptoms.  He said that it indicated the return of some pressure in the eye following the gradual reduction in the steroids, but that it was not a cause for worry.  She has another appointment on Friday.  

We do have a series of pictures of her eye as the shingles progressed from its relatively innocuous beginnings to the horrendous heights of its attack - but considered them too X-rated for people to view.  This is it almost back to normal, and we are breathing a huge sigh of relief.
