I have to say that I am not a pet lover. Don't shout at me! I am happy to take photos of animals and as my blip friends know have grown fond of bird pics. But I have never really had pets apart from a brief unfulfilling period with a rabbit as a child and then we had dwarf hamsters for a while when the kids were young. I have resisted cats, dogs, horses through my kid's formative years and got by with the occasional, at a safe distance, observation of pets.

You might guess therefore that this delightful dog is not mine. It appears that my son and his girlfriend are planning on taking this dog to his house when he moves in. Not sure how the puppy was acquired but a few weeks ago my son asked if I would take a dog for a few weeks before he moved into his own house. I declined, quoting the contract on my rented property, but secretly relieved that I did not have to cope with a dog! Anyway they managed to get a friend to take Max in but they went to visit him and as I was light of a decent blip I thought I would use this one. It's the nearest I get to pet engagement!

Now my son moving out is a bigger story and more of that when he has a date to go. I will miss him when he goes but hope that when I visit the dog is safely restrained!
