Setting up a V-Force display
Because Vulcan XM569 is going to be closed 2 March through to 6, or mid, April'ish for sealing, painting and some exterior repair, we have to give the public something as an alternative. They are going to be really disappointed if they arrive to visit the Vulcan cockpit and find it closed.
This is the start of a display cabinet where I have placed my two prints (Black Buck One, XM607 and Victor Tankers) and the other of a 617 Sqdn Vulcan with the signatures of the crew that delivered XM569 to Cardiff, Rhoose, Airfield in 1983. Plus two diecast models of a Victor and Vulcan and the Blue Steel missile.
Unfortunately, when I tried to put the models into the cabinet they are too wide to fit so they will have to stand up.
I've now fitted them onto a black board, long and rectangular, with the Victor / Blue Steel / Vulcan with labels describing what they are.
We are also going to have a presentation, Power-Point type, about the Avro Vulcan.
There's more to go into the cabinet and the volunteers have to be trained on the presentation and the IT that goes with it but shouldn't be a problem, Inshallah!!
I hope the public like it.
I'll blip the cabinet when it is finished.
