Under the Hemlock Tree

Most of the trees planted on the farm here are deciduous but there are a handful of conifers, I like the shape of the Western hemlock with their weeping branches. there is a lovely dry carpet underneath of needles where I have often sheltered from a shower, hope fully they have provided just such a place for wildlife too!
