Who's a pretty boy then?

Our last full day in Costa Rica saw us visit the Carara National Park and yet another amazing display of birdlife, which had been a feature of our visit to the country. Indeed, the country is a nature-lovers' and photographers' paradise - there is just so much to see and experience.

This Scarlet Macaw kept popping his (or her?) head out of the tree, almost as if it was playing games with us. However, he (she?) stopped out long enough on one or two occasions to allow us to get some decent photographs.
