Natural History Museum visit

Both the children had INSET days today so we hopped on a train up to London to the Natural History Museum.  It was a fantastic day, the exhibits are fantastic (especially the dinosaurs, mammals and rocks / minerals) but also the building itself is stunning.
I discovered that I would probably make a terrible museum curator as I was obsessed with not touching the glass due to fingerprints.  The only things that let it down slightly were the number of school trips (which can't be avoided), the exorbitant price for food (we took a packed lunch thankfully) and the surprising amount of dust and cobwebs.  These definitely did not detract from the great day had by all though .....
