Ducks

I was on the road up above the Lake & was taking some pictures of the ducks that were in swimming between the chunks of ice when a bunch of them took off. Although they aren't as close as I would have liked, I still really liked this one of them flying! It almost looks at first glance like they're flying  above the clouds but they're actually just skimming over the ice-coated water, which I think looks amazing--all sparkling in the sun!  The duck on the bottom left is a common golden eye, & the others are all Lesser Scaups. They didn't go too far--just flew to the next spot of open water & joined the other ducks that were already there. Another beautiful, sunny, but freezing cold day!   :)
