Just hanging around

There seem to be a few sleepy bees around already. For some reason they particularly like to stay in the crocuses, but this one was hanging around the iris.

It has been another sunny and warm day, after a frosty start. It was very pleasant working outside. I have been making a cold frame today and am almost finished. I was especially pleased that I made it out of materials we already had on hand. In some cases they were bits of wood that I salvaged from elsewhere. I am lucky that Mrs G is more concerned with its function than its looks.

I haven't had time to comment on other people's journals but I hope to catch up soon.
