Founder's Day celebrated

Although our Federation celebrated today,February 21st is the day Country Women's Institute began in NZ in 1921,but who's counting. For us it involved sitting around in the sun having a good chin-wag,playing games(trying to identify 9 items in a jar filled with rice,not as easy as it might sound!)and then enjoying a sausage in a piece of bread for lunch,simple pleasures. The Aspirations are read at the start of our monthly meetings and make me proud to be a member.
