Old Memories

Back in the good old days Great Uncle Jack, used to shoot home movies on 8mm film.

They showed family trips from Paeroa to Te Aroha and other family functions at the poultry farm at Hake (as my Dad calls it) - aka Karangahake.

Many years ago, my Dads cousin had the old films transferred to video, of which I was given a copy of them both.

I have just had them transferred to DVD. Great to see the road trip the family did around the South Island and a trip to Devonport. I can only assume they were visiting the family that lived there.

Will take them in and spent some time with my Dad and get him to identify some of the family in them.
