First day at sea

We sailed out of a colourful but rather misty Hong Kong at midnight and today are sailing the South China Sea. Temperatures have risen and are now 25 c/80f with beautiful blue skies and endless sunshine. We've had difficult choices to make today, which restaurant to have breakfast in, do I need a pair of handmade leather shoes made for me or perhaps it should be two, would it be an idea to go to a lecture or two so that I know a little of what to expect on the tours which start tomorrow. Then again there is the option of an outdoor jacuzzi or just watching the glorious sight of the sea. Decisions, decisions!
HG has been surprised beyond belief when returning to our cabin found that his shoes had been beautifully polished by our butler! (Pity he didn't bring more pairs of shoes with him, I thought!) He's also dragged me along to the Cruise Consultant as he'd been offered a good discount off our 'next cruise' although picking him off the floor when the discounted price was quoted wasn't so easy!
