Carpet of colour

Thank you for all your comments on yesterday's picture.  Although we have read them all with interest and are always appreciative, we are finding it difficult to answer you all individually at present and hope you will bear with us. 

Following the suggestion of  a Blipfriend, we visited  a nearby village Churchyard this morning  and were delighted to see the most wonderful carpet of aconites and snowdrops imaginable!  A sea of yellow and white greeted us.  As we turned the corner to the Church entrance we were almost blinded by the carpet of snowdrops, single and double, standing tall in the sunlight.  We will be back!
