... I spotted these wonderfully decorated hands at the departure gate ...  wondered how I could surreptitously take a photo of them ... but luck was on my side as she sat next to me on the plane ... she and her husband of a day were flying out to Malaysia for their honeymoon. I asked if I could blip them ... as you can see she offered them up to me ... and then asked more questions about how long it took to do (a few hours), the symbolism and how long they'll last (up to three weeks with careful washinig)
