St Michaels and All Angels...........

This historic church in the centre of Blantyre was constructed from 1888 - 1891.  It is on the site of the Scottish mission in Malawi!  It has not changed much since its construction and it even houses a small pipe organ (am not sure that it works anymore, but I played it about 15 years ago).

Today I met with the Synod officials before leaving for Lilongwe where I hope to have a meeting tomorrow before I head back to Mzuzu.  I came through some torrential rain on the way to Lilongwe and am glad to be here safely!  Am tired....its been a hectic few days!
