Swing among the Snowdrops

A bright, sunny day with a strong breeze.

My Granddaughter, Rachel, is with us for a few days because she has a viral infection and her Mum and Dad are away on a break in the Lake District. She is slowly recovering and we went out for a short walk in the grounds of Gagie Home Farm, which is about three miles from where we live. Part of the Scottish Snowdrop Festival is held here each year between February and March.

The snowdrops are not as numerous as they can be yet but there are still enough of them to make it a pleasant walk. Eleanor and Rachel enjoyed a short seat on the swing amongst the snowdrops.
