Me 'n' Cathy!

Well it has been an 'interesting' day as we had very limited power at the teashop. The electricians were there all day trying to find the problem. The kitchen is small anyway, but with one cooker pulled out into the middle of the room and two men testing and fixing it seemed to shrink around us. Usually a Tuesday is very busy, but thankfully today was fairly quiet...it probably helped that the phone was out too. 

Catherine Tyldesley (or Cathy as we know her he he he) from Corrie was in today. She is due to give birth any day now. We were quiet and she was happy to pose for a few pics...she is a lovely lady.

There was an elderly couple in who were enjoying an afternoon tea bought for them by their daughter for Christmas. "Are you enjoying it?" I asked them, "Oh it's delicious", they agreed, ""Well, we do our best....and we even laid on a celebrity for you too." The lady hit her husband on the arm, "I told you it was her!" She looked at me, "I told him it was her off Corrie and he wouldn't have it." As we laughed I looked at him, "What you should always remember is that a woman is always right"...."Oh I know", he said, "Even when they are wrong they are always right." 

Sue and I had moments of hysterical laughter, but we got through the day....eventually.
