DAY 9 IN ZIM - FAREWELL

Up at 5 am (whats wrong with these people...do they never lie in!!)

We travelled 200km to see the Great Zimbabwe. An ancient ruin from the 13th century. We climbed a tricky route for 20 mins in the searing heat but the views were amazing. ( I'll blip one tomorrow!!).. Well worth a visit. Then it was 200km back via another visit!!!

#When we got back the garden was full of these lovely ladies who were preparing our farewell meal for about 30 clergy...even the Archbishop came!!! We were presented with such generous gifts...a hand made skirt, a mothers union jumper, a clock and....
#The Rev got this parish shirt...he had been admiring Simba's all week. (Note: he is breathing in as it's too small...diet next week)

HAPPY...well GOBSMACKED AND HUMBLED would be better at the kindness and generosity of a group of people who have so little. May God bless each and everyone if them.

CHECK OUT THE REVS JOURNAL "collared"...I've hijacked it!! have tried to link it...can't...help...have the link sign but then what????
