Good to be home

Portugal in February was just what the doctor ordered. Leaving North Wales in the clutch of heavy snow showers for warmer (although drizzly at times) climes dispelled a little of the winter gloom that always creeps in about now...

Excellent company and good food helped too, as did the lovely weather at Farnborough as we landed. Even four straight hours behind the wheel was good fun; if there is anything better than the open road and 'Jolene' at full volume on the radio I've yet to find it.

Except for arriving home, of course. Nothing beats that.
