Was kind of nice to be out and about except when the wind gremlin would strike and change your hairstyle from a left-parted to a right-parted one/comb over. People with actual comb overs just stayed home today.

Best thing about today: this morning before school game sesh, when the PSLOML* lit up the 4 blocks of TNT against the door of the 100 block tall, stone fort with draw bridge I built for him in his Minecraft world last night. The entire building disintegrated and nothing remained but a deep crater. I let him think that it was his skillful lighting of the TNT but it was in fact the concealed, solid layer of TNT between the inner and outer walls throughout the entire building and under the bridge. For next week's sesh I'm excavating caves and building an underground thing for him to find and blow up.

There are already plans for camping and other summertime pursuits being talked about, prematurely;  I think we're both just so SICK of the thick clothing and brittle air. Must be, if imagining being in a tent with hot, humid air and mosquitoes just waiting for us to emerge from our netted cocoon seems like nirvana.
