Pay day

My monthly pay slip arrived today. It's the only piece of post I receive where I have to tear along three sides to see the contents.

Every month without fail I offer up a prayer of thanks when I look inside and see my earnings because I have a job and I can support myself. I know I am so fortunate compared to so many people and I can't simply take it for granted.
