Trunk Warmers

The moss covered stems of these little hazel and beech saplings reminded me of leg warmers I used to wear in the 1980s! A lovely sunny morning so I managed to stick to my walk before work. I feel better for it. Tonight I had supper with a lovely couple who I rented a cottage from when I lived in Hampshire 5 years ago. It was wonderful to see them. They were very good to me when I lived in their cottage and have been so ever since.
