Swinging on a Snow Day

We don't get much snow in Southeastern North Carolina and if we do get it, February is usually the month for it. We had a slight dusting today followed by sleet and freezing rain (aren't they the same thing?!?) So, Cole and I stayed in and kept warm by doing some yoga, snuggling with good books, and swinging. He loves his swing, especially if you sit on the floor and entertain him WHILE he's swinging. Oh, the joys of being an only child. You get All the attention! Our dogs, Sammie and Sadie, will occasionally walk up and try to kiss him while he's swinging. All they get in return is an accidental kick in the rear. They don't seem to mind, though. Cole is in week two of having a slight cold. He has a runny nose, minor cough, and a bit of a raspy voice. He's getting lots of rest and fluids, so hopefully it will resolve itself soon.
