The Eagle and The Crow
A second morning with a pre-dawn start to get out to the sea ice off the coast of Hokkaido. I'd learned lessons from the previous day, some of which I cut out and some of which I forgot and did the same things wrongs again but we have another day tomorrow.
The difficulty of shooting the eagles is that in addition there are lots of gulls and crows who are also trying to get the fish that is being thrown from the boats to entice them in, however, this shot is great to contrast the beauty and grace of a white tailed sea eagle and the ugliness of the scavenging crows.
