Baby herons !

In a rush to get a blip stopped by a nearby lake to get some reflections when I heard clack clack clack , clack clack clack. What on earth could it be ? I looked up to some trees across the lake and right on the top I could see at least 4 young herons in a nest with mum or dad sitting on a branch nearby. This is the best shot I could get - it was far away and I could have done with my slr ! But I've never seen such a thing and maybe you haven't either.
